Remodeling the Radke Residence began on June 23 and 24, 2005.  The Great Woods Post and Beam Company is the contractor for the project.  They started on the front side of the house.   They removed all the siding and put in Tyvek moisture barrier paper to help protect the home.  Then they  went to the back and removed the very poorly built back porch.

Since then they have framed the windows, built the back porch, torn down the front porch, put in all new doors, squared out and replaced the garage door, and finished the front kitchen porch.  After that was done we took out the old brick front steps and built new ones with railings.
